Regular readers will note that the republication process of the Sanford 3rd Age Club Mysteries is in association with Ocelot Press. This is not a publisher, but a collective of independent authors who work to support one another’s efforts. The majority are women and there’s one man – me.
So how did that come about?
I’ve known about Ocelot Press for some time and when the closure of Darkstroke Books was first announced at the end of March/early April 2024 I came up with the idea of forming a similar collective with ex DS authors, so I got in touch with my good friend Sue Barnard, who was both a DS author and a member of Ocelot. To my pleasant surprise I was invited to join them.
The members are:
Cathie Dunn, Sue Barnard, Nancy Jardine, Miriam Drori, Vanessa Couchman, and Jen Wilson.
These ladies are all fine writers, turning out historical adventures, whodunits, Shakespeare-themed tales, etc. not all of them set in the UK, and I’ve known them all for a good number of years. The idea of the collective is mutual assistance and advice.
You can learn a lot more about them, and the work these lovely ladies turn out at:
